BRAUWELT Cologne in a historic building since 1858 in Cologne Kalk

Behind the historic facades, traditional brewing art is combined with state-of-the-art technology. The high quality of the products, the close connection to Cologne, and the personal guidance by the Sünner family make the Sünner Brewery and Distillery a unique piece of living Cologne tradition.

The company was founded in Cologne-Deutz as far back as 1830. The property in Kalk with the old mine buildings was acquired in 1858, which led to the designation „Zechenbrauerei“ (Mine Brewery).

After the brewery in Köln-Kalk was almost completely destroyed in the Second World War, the buildings were restored by the family in their original form and are now listed as historic monuments.

Still today, Sünner's high-quality products are brewed in the historic buildings using traditional.
