Since April 2003, the Hard Rock Cafe in Cologne's Old Town has offered traditional American cuisine in a rock ‘n' roll atmosphere for up to 375 guests, directly on the Heumarkt, spread across two floors: spareribs, grilled specialities, and the legendary Hard Rock Burgers. Everything is freshly prepared and, where possible, made with regional produce. The whole experience is framed by unique items from the company's world-renowned memorabilia collection. On site, visitors can admire souvenirs from artists such as Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, the Black Eyed Peas, or Nina Hagen.
An integrated stage offers musicians from all over the world the opportunity to present themselves live to a music-loving audience. Bands and artists such as Robin Beck, Little Steven, Evanescence, Scorpions + Michael Schenker, Cat Ballou and Brings have already played here. Events like the launch of Activision's „Guitar Hero Metallica“ in the presence of Metallica in 2009 or the Scorpions' aftershow party in November 2010 provide a successful change in the café's portfolio.
